1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded to even thickness

4 cloves fresh garlic, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

For the Cheese Mixture:

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, freshly shredded

1/4 cup cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

For Assembly:

4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)

2 tablespoons melted butter

1 medium red bell pepper, thinly sliced

1/2 medium red onion, thinly sliced

2 cups fresh spinach leaves

1/4 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes (optional)

For the Herb Cream Sauce:

1/2 cup sour cream

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

Preparing the Chicken:

  1. Whisk garlic, olive oil, Italian seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne in a bowl. Add chicken, coat well, and marinate 15 minutes to 4 hours.
  2. Cook in a skillet over medium-high heat for 6–7 minutes per side until 165°F. Rest 5 minutes, then slice.

Preparing the Cheese Mixture:

  1. Mix cheddar, mozzarella, cream cheese, parsley, and chives until combined.

Preparing the Herb Cream Sauce:

  1. Stir together sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Assembly Process:

  1. Warm tortillas. Spread sauce, add spinach, chicken, bell peppers, red onion, and sun-dried tomatoes if using.
  2. Top with cheese mixture. Fold sides in, roll tightly.

Final Cooking:

  1. Brush wraps with melted butter. Cook seam-side down in a skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and melty.
  2. Rest 2 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Cheesy garlic chicken wraps can be assembled up to 24 hours in advance. Wrap each one individually in plastic and refrigerate. Let sit 10 minutes at room temperature before searing.

For longer storage, freeze cooked wraps for up to 3 months in foil inside freezer bags. Thaw overnight and warm in a 350°F oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
